If a new job – or pay rise – is on your list for 2019, you might want to pay a visit to Aldi who’ve just launched a series of new positions for the year ahead.
The chain, which has a head office in Warwickshire, has kicked off a huge recruitment drive on a mission to fill a number of vacancies over the next 12 months.
It comes after opening its 800th store in the UK last year, with plans to have a network of 1,000 by 2022.
Aldi’s latest positions include apprentice and entry-level shop floor roles – which start at £8.70 an hour outside London and £10.20 within the M25.
The supermarket pays the independent Living Wage, which is higher than the Government’s minimum wage and factors in rising prices such as inflation.
Elsewhere, it has opportunities for ‘career changers’ in areas such as management, with salaries that could see you earning more than £58,000 a year.
And the benefits are attractive too – with some roles offering up to five weeks of annual leave.
Part of their bumper drive includes a UK-wide graduate scheme with head office roles for those with a 2:1 degree and a full driving licence.
Graduates will work on a 12 month training scheme that sees them earn up to £75,360 in four years – and take home a fully expensed Audi A4 on their first day.
Elsewhere, there are dozens more new stores opening this year – and here’s how to apply for them.
Here’s everything you need to know and how to apply.
