I’m a Celebrity‘s Anne Hegerty has defended fellow 2018 contestant Emily Atack against an online troll.

Yesterday (March 15), Emily announced the exciting news that she will be playing the role of Blondie singer Debbie Harry on Sky Arts series Urban Myths.

However, her post got targeted from a negative online user, telling Emily that she’s “just not pretty enough”.

Anne hit back at the troll’s negative comments with some pretty strong language, saying: “What a sad c**t you are, Steve.”

Emily has recently hit back at online trolls for body shaming her Brit Awards dress and shared that she gets “fat-shamed a lot”.

“People were saying the dress was unflattering, but I really liked it,” Emily told OK! magazine.

“Sometimes you have to tell people to f**k off. I get fat-shamed a lot, but I don’t give a shit.

“I’d be more upset about comments on my personality. But it’s other young girls looking at those comments. I’m not fat, so they might think, well if she’s fat, then what am I?”

Meanwhile, since Fearne Cotton announced she was leaving Celebrity Juice, fans have been hoping that Atack would replace her as team captain.

However, the role instead went to Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness – and Emily recently said that he’ll be a great addition to the Keith Lemon-fronted show.
